Bükfürdő Thermal & Spa is Hungary’s second-largest spa complex and one of the country’s most internationally recognized thermal destinations. The thermal water was discovered in 1957 during oil exploration, leading to the development of one of Central Europe’s largest spa resorts.
The medicinal thermal water is rich in calcium, magnesium, and hydrogen carbonate and is recommended for musculoskeletal, rheumatic, and circulatory disorders. The vast complex includes more than 30 pools, ranging from indoor and outdoor thermal baths to leisure pools, jacuzzis, swimming pools, and children’s pools.
The wellness area features an extensive sauna world with Finnish, aroma, and infrared saunas, steam cabins, salt chambers, and Kneipp pools. With its modern facilities and international reputation, Bükfürdő Thermal & Spa is considered a flagship spa of both Hungary and Central Europe.
