Aquaticum Mediterrán Élményfürdő is one of Hungary’s most distinctive indoor adventure baths, located in Debrecen’s Great Forest and opened in 2003.
The bath is housed under a large glass dome filled with palm trees, tropical vegetation, and themed pools, creating a year-round holiday atmosphere. The complex features more than a dozen pools, including wave pools, children’s play pools, adventure pools with whirlpools and geysers, and thermal sitting pools.
An extensive slide system offers entertainment for both children and adults. Wellness services include saunas, steam rooms, massages, and beauty treatments. The alkaline bicarbonate thermal water, sourced from Debrecen’s deep wells, is recommended for joint and spinal complaints.
Aquaticum Mediterrán Élményfürdő is especially popular in winter, when its tropical environment provides a unique contrast to Hungary’s cold climate.
