Cascade Barlangfürdő in Demjén is Hungary’s longest cave bath, built inside a 760-meter-long man-made cave system and opened in 2015.
The thermal water emerges at around 68°C from nearly 700 meters underground and is used in a series of indoor pools set among stone walls, stalactite-style formations, waterfalls, and immersive sound and light effects.
The cave environment creates a calm, atmospheric bathing experience that is especially popular during colder months. Above ground, the Cascade complex also offers outdoor pools, children’s areas, slides, and a wellness section with saunas and massage services.
Cascade Cave Bath is widely regarded as one of Hungary’s most innovative spa attractions, combining therapeutic bathing with a distinctive underground setting.
