Bázakerettyei Termálfürdő is a historic thermal bath located in the village of Bázakerettye, in Zala County. The bath has a unique origin, as thermal water was discovered during oil drilling in the 1930s, making it one of Hungary’s earliest thermal bath sites.
The alkaline bicarbonate thermal water emerges at approximately 42°C and is traditionally used for easing joint and musculoskeletal complaints. The facility operates mainly as a seasonal outdoor bath and includes thermal pools, a swimming pool, and family-friendly areas.
Bázakerettyei Termálfürdő is valued for its historic character, peaceful rural environment, and authentic spa atmosphere, making it a lesser-known but distinctive thermal bath in western Hungary.
