Igal Gyógyfürdő is one of Southern Transdanubia’s flagship medicinal baths, renowned for its exceptionally strong alkaline bicarbonate thermal water. Discovered in 1948, the water emerges at approximately 81°C and is officially certified as medicinal.
The spa complex features 17 pools, including indoor and outdoor thermal pools, leisure and adventure pools, jacuzzis, and children’s pools. Its wellness and medical sections provide balneotherapy, mud packs, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, saunas, and massage treatments under professional supervision.
During the summer season, the outdoor strand area becomes especially lively with slides, playgrounds, sports courts, and sunbathing lawns, making it a popular destination for families. Seasonal programs such as night bathing and aqua fitness add to its appeal.
